Conroe Christian Center Has Changed

Conroe Christian Center is now Change Pointe Church
At the turn of 2014, the LORD spoke to me that He was changing the name of our church. I didn't understand it at first, but I submitted to it. After going through all of the legal aspects and moving forward with all of the details involved in making a name change, He told me that the time to make the change not yet, and that I was to wait. (Habakkuk 2:1-4)
Habakkuk 2:1-4 – 1 I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. 2 Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. 4 "Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. NKJV
On July 10th of 2014, the LORD revealed to me the next step that needed to happen in order for the church to move forward with the new name and into the new things He had in planned for us.
He led me to Revelation 2:12-17 - 12 "And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, 'These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: 13 "I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. 17 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it."' NKJV
As the leadership of the church, we began to fast, pray and come against (through spiritual warfare) the things that Jesus pointed out to us in this passage. Then The LORD broke through on our behalf and showed us that we had overcome. Now we could move forward with what He had planned.
The three promises that are attached to this passage to him that overcomes are; I will give him hidden manna (unseen provision), a white stone (pure foundation) and a new name (proper name for the new nature He has given).
On Sunday, September 7th we shared with the congregation the name change the LORD had given and then we received communion, giving thanks for all the LORD had done. The next Sunday, September 14th at our Seven Year Church Anniversary Service we became, Change Pointe Church.
We are and will always be a Word of Faith, Spirit Filled Church that relies on the Holy Spirit to anoint, empower and direct us in all of our services and outreaches. We are anointed to help people change.
If you are struggling and being overwhelmed and overcome by the adversary, God wants to bring breakthrough and change in your life. Jesus came from heaven to earth to destroy the works of the devil and let the oppressed go free. This is your time and this is your hour to move forward with the LORD as never before! If you have slipped back, fallen down or are in bondage to sin or sickness of any kind, I want to challenge you to come out this Sunday Morning at 10 am to Change Pointe Church and allow Christ to change in your life forever.
